Who are you?

Hello! My name is Meagan, but sometimes referred to as Meag within the walls of the internet. I'm current a resident of Greensboro, North Carolina and I enjoy my life here in the city. I moved to Greensboro in October 2017 and work for school system in this area. I date a wonderful guy who enriches my life with drinks and movies in bed. His name is Gus and he will definitely appear in my blog posts. 

What do you blog about? 

In a nutshell I think this blog will begin as just tidbits of my adventures. For some time, I've always wanted to write reviews based on my experiences. I had this opportunity before when I worked for a small newspaper in the mountains of North Carolina and wrote articles based on my adventures. It was called "Cashiers Outside" and featured different outdoor activities that I did; zip-lining, hiking, fishing, etc. I loved it, but it was short lived unfortunately because I needed to move on to the next thing going on in my life at the time.

When I moved into Greensboro, I quickly started to enjoy how much I love being close to civilization. I lived in a small town in the mountains with pretty limited options when it came to places to eat, so having so many different restaurants at my grasp.... It's been food heaven. So here I am - a girl with goals and a love for food. I do enjoy cooking (and maybe we'll get to that at some point in this blogging journey), but I am looking forward to doing this for some fun and to share with family and friends. Though most of my reviews will be for places that are local to me, I do love to travel as well! So why not add a little bit of travel fun into the mix? I hope to make posts about my travels and adventures to mix in with the reviews; even if they are silly posts about what happens in the car along the way or the hiccups of planning a trip. I expect this blog to evolve and change over time so please, stick with me, and I promise you some laughs along the way. While I'm working on this evolution and figuring out what my real "niche" is, I'll be posting just thoughts and moments that happen in my life as well to get me into writing more and often. Who knows where we will end up at the end of this. Enjoy!
